Tom Pickles |
Tom Pickles is a cellist and composer from the UK, currently completing his Master studies at Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag.
His performances combine core and contemporary classical repertoire with his own music, which is inspired by the natural world, ambient music, and his interest in exploring all the possibilities of harmonic notes on the cello. Tom previously studied at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where he was a multiple prize-winner, University of London - Goldsmiths College, and St Mary’s Music School, Edinburgh. Before moving to the Netherlands in 2020 he performed extensively in the UK as a soloist and chamber musician. He is also a committed music educator. |
