Ensemble La Voz Humana is a young early music ensemble formed by students and alumni of Conservatorium van Amsterdam and Royal Conservatoire Den Haag. This ensemble is dedicated to the historically informed performance of baroque music from the Iberian peninsula and the New World.
The ensemble aims to research and perform Iberian and latin American baroque music from the 17th and early 18th century. This type of music has a very rich cultural background, with influences ranging from European counterpoint and harmony to rhythmic patterns and musical elements inherited from African and South American musical tradition. Ensemble La Voz Humana is also actively rekindling the art of improvisation. Improvisation was a vital element of the the performance practice in the 17th and 18th century which gives the music a sense of spontaneity and freshness. La Voz Humana is privileged to receive coaching and guidance from leading experts in Spanish and Latin American baroque music such as Mike Fentross and Adrián Rodriguez van der Spoel (Musica Temprana).

Galit Zadok |
Galit Zadok is a graduate of the Israeli Conservatory of Music Tel Aviv at the recorder class of Chana Reuven and Flute class of Yaara Wayne. On finishing high school she volunteered to go on a year of community service and in addition served as a teacher-soldier in the Israeli army. Galit holds a bachelor diploma from The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in the recorder class of Ms. Drora Bruck and from The Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the recorder class of Mr. Jorge Isaac where she is currently following historical bassoon studies with Mr. Benny Aghassi. In 2010 Galit was a semifinalist at the Paul Ben-Haim competition, she had won the American-Israel Scholarship for the years 2010-2012, a receiver of The Avi Fellowship Scholarship foundation for the year 2012-2013 and of the Siday Fellowship for Musical Creativity for the years 2016-2017. In 2018-2019 she was accepted and followed the Erasmus programme at the Conservatorio di Milano with professor Alberto Grazzi. Galit’s performances are remarkable for their expressivity. Her baroque affects as well as her full understanding of the contemporary music languages demonstrate an unusually sensitive approach towards sound.

Ana Vasić |
Ana Vasić is violinist born in Slovenia, Postojna in 1992 to Bosnian parents. She lives in Amsterdam since 2011, where she graduated from BA classical violin with teachers Ilya Grubert and Kees Koelmans. She is currently a Master student at ESMUC in Barcelona under the guidance of Emilio Moreno in historical violin performance.
She is a freelance musician playing with various orchestras and ensembles in the Netherlands and abroad, such as Concerto d’Amsterdam, Musica Amphion, Corelli Collective, Belvedere string quartet, Odyssee Ensemble, La Voz Humana, Croatian baroque ensemble Antiphonus etc. |
Valeria Sanchez |
Valeria Sanchez performes through the Netherlands and in Europe as a freelance double bassist. Played in several ensambles like The Bach, Choir and Orchestra of the Netherlands o.l.v Pieter-Jan Leusink, Ensemble t' Kabinet (Westerkerk Amsterdam) Concerto Barroco. Valeria has performed under the guidance of notable figures such as: Alfredo Bernardini, Teunis Van Der Zwart, Sigiswald Kuijken, Enrico Onofri. She moved in 2011 to Amsterdam to specialize in Historical Performance Practice obtaining her second bachelor degree in 2015. In 2017 she graduated from the master program in Amsterdam Conservatory. She started her double bass studies in Mexico and graduating in 2009. Experienced as a chamber and orchestral musician, Valeria plays the 8' and 16' violones.

Punto Bawono |
Punto Bawono is currently studying theorbo, lute, and baroque guitar with Mike Fentross and Joachim Held at the Royal Conservatoire of the Hague and with Paul Beier at the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado, Milan, Italy. Punto has played in master classes for many renowned musicians, including Hopkinson Smith, Peter Croton, Michael Chance, Emma Kirkby and David Miller. He also received coaching in the field of historical performance practice and chamber music by specialists such as Ryo Terakado, Frank de Bruine, Lucia Swarts, Wilbert Hazelzet, Lorenzo Ghielmi, and Susan Williams. Punto performs regularly as soloist, accompanist and a continuo player. He is playing on a baroque guitar built by luthier Ivo Magherini and it is a copy of an instrument by Giovanni Tessler from 1620 (coll. Museo degli Strumenti Musicali Antichi, Rome)
